You are two words (and two fingers) away your ultimate New Year resolution.
Anyone whom one day decided to list up their resolutions knows this : the hardest part about achieving your goal is not in getting started but in keeping up with it.
Once gone the hysteria of finding the perfect gift comes the time to reflect upon the year that has just passed and focus on the one to come. From losing weight to changing career and all that while finding the love of your life, December is also that time of the year where 80% of the population decides to change about pretty much everything in their current existence.
Then January comes along and as weeks pass by, so do your resolutions. Don't feel bad about it, though ! It's not really your fault. Statistics actually show that the only one to blame in this is your motivation. All you really need to do to get to the HD side of your life is a shock, like some kind of extra shot of energy that will keep you up and running all the way through your journey and to your destination.
So, what if I told you that you are exactly two words (and two fingers) away from this extra shot : DONG CHIM.
Do you know the saying that goes : "You need to pull your finger out"? Well, let's say that a Dong Chim would be a very visual description of that.
In a nutshell, a Dong Chim is a Korean game that kids like to play with their professor (but that a lot of adults seem to be enjoying too). Basically, all you have to do is clasp your hands together in a gun shape then hide behind someone's back until you stick your fingers in their anal region and all that while they're not expecting it. And BAM ! The person has been Dong Chimed.
The literary side of the definition leaving very little room for imagination, I figured I would google it and present you with some (pretty much hallucinating) pictures :
And for the bravest of you, this is what a Dong Chim looks like IRL:
So okay, the whole idea might seem a little brutal (especially for your anus) but if you only focus on the imagery behind the definition, then a Dong Chim starts to look a lot like a very good friend that would just care about you, always pushing you to reach for the stars and keeping you on the good side of motivation. And it's also all of your resolutions wrapped up in one simple gesture of the hand.
So, may your new year be as merry as a Dong Chim.
